Family owned company in South Houston is seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team.

Location: South Houston

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000



Job Requirements:

Job duties:

Perform Accounts Receivable, collections, Accounts Payable duties

Create and send invoices to customers. Ensure invoicing meets customer specific requirements.

Balance books and monthly reconciliations.

Review all bills for accuracy and pay if they are correct. Resolve issues as needed.

Run payroll every weekly, calculate time each employee worked from timecard.

Monthly review sales tax report from QuickBooks and check for accuracy. File and pay sales tax. Log transaction in QuickBooks.

Process and log credit card payments.

Purchase all materials and supplies. Check status of orders, get update on critical orders, late orders, or orders from problematic vendors.

Perform business related and HR tasks as needed such as:

ovehicle registrations and coordinate vehicle maintenance

oCoordinate expectations-review meetings

oHelp with recognition and respect program

oAddress payroll, work safety, other personnel issues.

oCustomer Service: schedule, project requirements, payment, other issues.

oCompile and send proposals, Entering job information into the system.

oCoordinate delivery

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a small company.

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, QuickBooks (Online)

Good communication skills: telephone, email, direct person-to-person contact.

Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
